Manipur Society for Skill Development

The Manipur Society for Skill Development (MSSD) was established for providing skill training to unemployed youth including school/college dropouts and also ensures up-skilling of the qualified youth to enhance their employability. Manipur Society for Skill Development is in partnership with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) for implementation of various schemes like Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY). MSSD also intends to support aspiring entrepreneurs in various industries by fostering the development of a sustainable skill ecosystem for the convergence of high-quality skills training.

The Labour Market Information Management System (LMMIS) is a comprehensive web application platform under the Manipur Society for Skill Development, Government of Manipur. It is designed to collect, analyze, and disseminate skill applicant and labour market information.

Center Lifecycle

Step 1: Register - Submit Expression of Interest (EoI) from reputed Firms/Organisation as Training.
Step 2: Get Approved -Fulfil Training Center (TC) infrastructure and trainer assessment requirements.
Step 3: Enrol Trainees -Group trainees in a batch and enroll the batch for a course.
Step 4: Train & Certify -Skill the trainees and get them assessed. Post their certification, receive a reimbursement.
Step 5: Place & Track -Ensure the employment of the trainee and track the placement for 12 months.
Step 6: Get Reimbursed -Tracking of trainees for an applicable period, receive reimbursement.

Assessment bodies are responsible for conducting an assessment of an approved batch. They are affiliated to a Sector Skill Council (SSC) and are authorized by the SSC to conduct assessment and certification.
